As part of the Herding Group, the German Shepherd is a working dog developed originally for herding and guarding sheep. Because of its strength, intelligence and abilities in obedience training it is often employed in police and military roles around the world. German Shepherds currently account for 4.6% of all dogs registered with the American Kennel Club. Due to its loyal and protective nature, the German Shepherd is one of the most registered of breeds. The German Shepherd is well known for his intelligence, traininability, devotion and loyalty. He is the working dog of choice for many and, in North America, is one of the most popular breeds
it has a distinct personality with a direct and fearless expression. it is self-confident and, with a certain reserve, does not generally make immediate friends. He is however approachable, quietly standing his ground. Any signs of a lack of confidence in the German Shepherd is not typical of the breed.
Physically, the German Shepherd gives an impression of strength, agility, and balance. it is considered to be a dog of mid-size, heavy enough to be effective as a herding dog or police dog, yet not so heavy as to be awkward. it should be well-muscled, alert and appear athletic and fit. There should also be a distinct difference in males and females whereby the dog is definitely masculine and the bitch, feminine.
The German Shepherd has a lustrous double coat with a varying amount of undercoat depending on the climate, season, and the amount of time the dog spends outdoors. The outercoat is dense, harsh, straight or may be slightly wavy, and lies close to the body. The coat colours come in a wide range but they should always be strong and rich without appearing washed-out.

Their entire body is long and muscular, and their feet are round and have dark nails. Great Danes have a medium-length tail and strong legs. Their eyes are round and dark and their teeth are white, well-developed, and close in a scissors bite. Especially in the United States, a Great Dane’s ears may be cropped so they are pointed and stand upright. Great Danes feature a substantial coat of short, glossy, close-cropped hair. Great Danes are classified into varieties based on the color of their coat:· Black- The coat is glossy black.· Blue- The coat color is a pure steel blue.· Brindle- The coat is a chevron-stripe pattern of fawn and black.· Fawn- The coat is a dusty, yellow gold with a black face mask.· Harlequin- The base coat is pure white. Patches of black are evenly distributed across the whole body.· Mantle- The coat is black and white. Spots and markings on show dogs are in specific places across the whole body. Other coat colors may occur, but they are not suitable for show dogs. Thus, they are not sought after by breeders.

The history of Great Dane Similar dogs to the Great Dane are thought to have originated in Egypt, Rome, or Greece. Some sources say they were found on Grecian currency as far back as 36 B.C. It’s believed that the Great Dane spawned from the medieval boarhound, and/or the mastiff-like dogs that were transported to Germany by the Alans. After exhibiting great strength and abilities like killing bears and wild boars, a process of selective breeding began to take place in Germany. Dogs similar to the Great Danes were bred with Irish Greyhounds, and the result was the present-day Great Dane. Great Danes are a breed that may be about 400 years old.

Bulldog

A Bulldog, also known as British Bulldog or English Bulldog, is a breed of dog which traces its ancestry to the British Isles. It should not be confused with other varieties such as the American Bulldog or the French Bulldog, which have a similar appearance.

The Bulldog is a breed with characteristically wide shoulders and a matching head. There are generally thick folds of skin on a Bulldog's brow, followed by round, black, wide-set eyes, a short muzzle with characteristic folds called "rope" above the nose, with hanging skin under the neck, drooping lips, and pointed teeth. The coat is short, flat and sleek, with colors of red, fawn, white, brindle (mixed colors, often in waves or irregular stripes), and piebald.

The term “bulldog” was first used around 1568 and might have been applied to other various ancestors of modern bulldog breeds before adorning the breed we recognize today. The Bulldog was believed to come from its ancestors, the Molossian dog, from Phonetician traders. The Bulldog had its origin in the British Isles. The name “bull” was applied because of the dog’s use in the sport of bull baiting. The original Bulldog had to be very ferocious and so savage and courageous as to be almost insensitive to pain. In 1835 dog fighting as a sport became illegal in England. Therefore, the English Bulldog had outlived his usefulness and his days were numbered. However, there were dog lovers who felt deep disappointment at the passing of the breed, and they set themselves the task of preserving it. They proceeded to eliminate the undesirable fierce characteristics and to preserve and accentuate the finer qualities. Within a few generations, the English Bulldog became one of the finest physical specimens, minus its original viciousness.

Boxer (Deutscher Boxer) (German Boxer)

Boxer
(Deutscher Boxer) (German Boxer)

It has different names:
German Boxer
Deutscher Boxer
German Bulldog

Developed in Germany, the Boxer is a breed of stocky, medium size, short-haired dog. The coat is smooth and fawn, brindled, white, or even reverse brindled with or without white markings. Boxers are brachycephalic (they have broad, short skulls), and have a square muzzle, mandibular prognathism (an underbite), very strong jaws and a powerful bite ideal for hanging on to large prey.

The dog is as unique as it is diverse in its mood and personality. There are many things to consider about this breed that have made it a wonderful companion, family dog, guard dog as well as working dog. When reading this, remember that all individual dogs are different and even though one Boxer may fit these guidelines to a T, another may not.
So you now have a Boxer, and he is bouncing off the walls, tearing up the couch and eating your shoes. This is no surprise to those that know that a Boxer is a very energetic and playful dog that needs a lot of exercise and stimulation to avoid nasty behaviors such as the ones above that come from the dob becoming bored. It may also be hard to break bad habits by punishing the dog, as they are headstrong and stubborn and may require positive reinforcement to get it through their thick heads! This dog can be eager to please so; it may be possible to train the dog with baiting as is often used in show rings.

Is a small to medium- sized dog, has a simple appearance soft ears it is a very intelligent dog so can easily become bored. it is a superb pet dog with working abilities and a good solid character, and Beagle puppies are some of the cutest pups around, the Beagle is a very active dog and not as attentive to balls and toys as some breeds such as the Collie or Spaniels. Unless they have been well-trained to heel and recall, they may need to spend more time on the end of a lead than some other breeds as, being scent hounds, they can often run off to do their instinctive duty whenever they smell anything interesting. Two long daily walks are a must for this bundle of energy. Although it is used to hunt hares, game birds and rabbits. Today used more as a companion dog.
